Accessibility Statement

We are working towards Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA.

This site has not had a formal accessibility audit, so we do not claim to conform to that standard. We would rather tell you that than display a badge we cannot stand behind. What follows is what has actually been done, and what is still open.

Every form field carries a label a screen reader can announce, including the quantity and guest-count controls. Images carry alternative text. Keyboard users get a visible focus outline on every link, button and field, shown when tabbing and not when clicking. The site can be used from the keyboard throughout — the menu, the filter panels and your selection all open and close with it, and Escape closes them. Navigation uses real links, so pages can be opened in a new tab, bookmarked, and reached with the browser's back button. Headings run in order, with one main heading per page. Small low-contrast text has been raised to meet the AA contrast ratio, and the site honours your system setting for reduced motion.

Colour contrast has been corrected for small dark text on pale backgrounds but has not been checked across every combination on the site — pale text on the dark footer and over photographs in particular. The date picker and the category and colour filters have not been tested with a screen reader.

No audit combining automated tooling with manual assistive-technology testing has been carried out yet, and that is the only reliable way to produce a complete list. We add confirmed problems here as they are found, and remove them as they are fixed.

Many orders are collected in person, and we would rather you knew what to expect before you arrive than after. Collection is a handover rather than a walk-around — we bring your order out to you and load it into the car, so there is nothing to walk through and there are no steps or doors to manage.

You are welcome to stay in the vehicle throughout. If anything about that would be difficult, tell us when you book and we will arrange it — and delivery within Jerusalem is always an option. We would far rather arrange it than have you struggle.
